Student Practicum Topics

Our Graduate students’ Action Research Practicum topics vary, based on specific needs and the identified challenges of their own classrooms and/or schools. They are encouraged to work in teams, if there are common interests. Although the Action Research Practicum is an intrinsic requirement for our degree-seeking Graduate students, other schools and professionals have requested support and on-going mentoring to learn the action research process. The “power of the process” cannot be understated; when used correctly, its proactive effects continue to loop in very positive directions to support educators in continuous improvements on behalf of their students and their communities.

The listing below indicates the Action Research topics that our Graduate students pursued in their own professional settings. In most, even though requirements for their Master's degrees are completed, their Action Research continues to "live on!"
